NAIOP Triangle held our first ever membership drive on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at World of Beer. Fifty NAIOP Members and guests networked  and learned about NAIOP in a casual, fun atmosphere. Thank you to Joe Dye, AAC and NAIOP Triangle Membership Committee Chair  and the entire membership committee (Mike Kriston- McDonald York, Hunter Burnette- Shelco, Inc, Michael Mesnard- Cline Design, Julie Poovey- JDavis Architects, and John Livingston, Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP) for hosting an eventful evening.

On Thursday, October 17, 2013 NAIOP Triangle traveled to Red Hat Headquarters to host a panel discussion on the inner workings of the building. Panelists included Craig Youst, Sr. Director, Global Workplace Solutions, Louise Dixon Chapman, Sr. Manager, Global Workplace Planning, Matt Moon, Manager, Global Real Estate Development & Sustainability, and Chris Muse, Manager Global Workplace Resources. Panelists discussed what triggered the move from Centennial Capmus, the site selection process, the transaction process, and the upfit. A tour of the building concluded the meeting. A special thanks to Danny Seaton at Red Hat and NAIOP Triangle Developing Leader Tommy Rodwell for organizing the event.
